About the Pastry Chef
Meet Seema
Seema Rayudu Chintamneedi, a pastry chef of Indian origin, currently resides and bakes her unique creations in Leander, Austin, Texas. A nurse by profession, she chose to follow her life-long passion of baking in 2011 and has since, not looked back.
Her introduction to the world of baking began at the tender age of 7, when she observed her mother use a bare-bones sand-earthen oven to create the most scrumptious & flavorful cookies and cakes. Her supremely talented Grandmother & Mother, who were both self-taught bakers in their own right, blazed the trail for Seema and influenced her baking style & recipes immensely.
Seema has since traveled far and wide, gone to Culinary Arts schools and bolstered her cake portfolio to appeal to a global & multicultural audience. She has baked cakes for the likes of Kapil Dev & Desmond Haynes. She was the official baker for the star studded 10th Anniversary celebrations of The Indian Fine Arts, San Diego. Her style combines tradition with edgy, new trends! She specializes in eggless cakes & other novelty cakes that cater to every special occasion.
This affable & outgoing Delhi girl (born & raised), is her happiest self when she bakes and creates her unique & delectable cakes! Giving her customers a truly one of a kind experience is what motivates her to do better with each new order she takes on.
Seema has always had a penchant for giving back to the community; so in her spare time, she volunteers and she worked as the Treasurer at the Creekside Education Foundation and is an executive member at the San Diego Telugu Association. She is also an expert fundraiser for local charities in San Diego and used to volunteer at the San Diego Youth Cricket Club Academy as their treasurer.
